Pleasant day/night, Sir. This is Germaine Labuca, 16 years of age, residing somewhere in Barangay Poblacion, Padre Burgos, Southern Leyte. I went to Saint James College of Padre Burgos Inc. and I am currently in 11th Grade under the track of Humanities and Social Science (HumSS) whose adviser was Mrs. Reshelyn Ann Aure. I am quite having this low-key personality and being an introvert one, sometimes i am also an ambivert who loves to hangout with my friends when i am bored. I am the youngest daughter of Mrs. Marianita Labuca and Mr. Gerardo Labuca, my mother often goes to church while my father’s occupation before was a fish vendor. I have 4 siblings in half, but sad to say my eldest half brother died last 2019 due to drowning while he suffered a heart attack, and that was the incident we couldn’t move on so easily. And now I’ve been realizing alot to learn something new. I have my motto in life which is “Failure is not an opposite of success, it is part of it”, sometimes comprehend as “Every failure is a step to success”. The more we realize, the more we learn, and it would be a chance for us to grow.

Achieving my goal someday can make it to commit my dream career, to become a policewoman and to experience what successful living will be. It takes thousand journeys, a journey that you’d be able to go where tough situation is there before you reach your destination that desires.

Life still goes on but with a twist. As what I’ve encounter in daily living, positive up’s and worst downs cannot be avoided. It is part of our life whether physically or emotionally. When I am at my worst sometimes, I mostly think I am in hell, suffering of what I’ve been feeling down. I also describe myself as an enigmatic person, difficult to understand when I am with someone who ain’t not used to be with.
